Wilbur Carl Davis, a 93-year-old resident of Harrisonville and former Trenton resident, died Sunday, May 11, 2003 at the Cass Medical Center in Harrisonville.

Wilbur Carl Davis, a 93-year-old resident of Harrisonville and former Trenton resident, died Sunday, May 11, 2003 at the Cass Medical Center in Harrisonville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2003 at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Trenton.

Visitation will be from 2 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

Mr. Davis was born May 8, 1910 in Jamesport. He grew up in Trenton and later moved to Kansas City. He moved to Harrisonville in 1956. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He worked for Butler Manufacturing in Kansas City for 33 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the American Legion Post 42 in Harrisonville.

He was married on Oct. 8, 1977 to Hughie Viola Storms, who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Davis is also survived by one son, Rick Davis of Urich; one step-son, Charles R. Davis of Kansas City; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
