Neill Arnote, a 68-year-old resident of Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at the care center. He was a former resident of Princeton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2003 at the Princeton First Baptist Church. Pastor Guy Olin Thomas will officiate with services under the direction of Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service at Princeton. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery, located northeast of Modena.
Visitation is under way at the funeral home. A family visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday at the church, prior to the service.
Mr. Arnote was born in Mercer County on Jan. 24, 1935, the son of Paul Clifford and Mildred Edith Vanderpool Arnote. He was a lifelong resident of Mercer County and a member of the Princeton First Baptist Church.
Mr. Arnote is survived by two brothers, Larry Arnote and his wife, Jeannie, of Harrisonville and Nolan Arnote and his wife, Mary Lou, of Kansas City; six sisters, Jeannine Fair and her husband, Herb, of Clinton, Mary Putnam and her husband Dennis, of Grandview, Judy Delameter and her husband, William of Morton, IL, Annie Harvey and her husband, Jerry L., of Trenton, Paulette Westerman and her husband, Ken, of Clever, and Myrna Arnote of Baldwin City, KS; an aunt, Amel Smith of Princeton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Arnote was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Janice and Sharol Arnote.
