Mrs. Imogene Shirley French, an 80-year-old resident of Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Mrs. Imogene Shirley French, an 80-year-old resident of Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2003 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. Rev. Bill Stanturf will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Trenton.
A visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2003 at the funeral home.
Mrs. French was born July 2, 1922 in Scotland County, the daughter of Benjamen and Edna Odbers Dunn. She was graduated from Trenton High School in 1942. She was a lifelong resident of Trenton. She worked for Swift?s, Muff Bakery, Don Peyton, Hy-Power Cafe and Barnes Greenhouse, all in Trenton.
She was married on Aug. 25, 1948 at Princeton to James Taylor French. He preceded her in death on M arch 27, 1982.
Mrs. French is survived by three brothers, Harry Dunn of Trenton, Robert Dunn and Clarence Dunn; one sister, Bessie Cornwell; and several nieces and nephews, including Donna Lundy of St. Joseph.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Mary Jane Prothero.
