James Ronald Berry, a 69-year-old resident of Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton, died at 5:14 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2003 at the care center, where he had resided since March 28, 1994.

James Ronald Berry, a 69-year-old resident of Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton, died at 5:14 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2003 at the care center, where he had resided since March 28, 1994.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at the Fairview United Methodist Church, north of Galt. Burial will be in the Berry Cemetery, north of Galt. There is no family visitation planned and the family will be staying at the home of his brother, Melvin Berry, at Galt.

Mr. Berry was born on Dec. 4, 1933 in Galt, the son of Harold A. and Goldia Mae McCulley Berry. He had resided with his parents all his life on the farm north of Galt until he entered the care center.

He was a member of the Fairview Methodist Church and attended the Grundy County Learning Center.

Mr. Berry is survived by two brothers, Melvin Berry, and his wife, Laurel, of Galt and William Berry and his wife, Marjorie, of Davison, MI; two sisters, a twin, Jennette, now Mrs. Charles Wentert, of Montezuma, IA, and Reva Treese of Vincennes, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, William Treese.

The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Grundy County Learning Center.
