Terry A. Miller, a 45-year-old resident of 3633 Lake Trenton Dr. in Trenton, died at 7:19 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2003 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2003 at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be in the Harris Cemetery at Harris. A family visitation has been scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, 2003 at the mortuary.
Terry was born on Sept. 23, 1957 at Jamesport, the son of Orvil W. and Beulah B. Sheppard Miller. He had lived his entire life in the Jamesport and Trenton communities and graduated from Tri-County High School at Jamesport in 1975. He had worked for Melvin Shuler at the Shuler Mausoleum for a time.
He was married on July 9, 1976 to Pauline O. Otto at the Baptist Church in Newtown. They made their home in Jamesport. In January 1977 he began working for Modine Manufacturing and spent the rest of his working life there.
Terry was a very loving, caring and giving person who enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He has left most of his family members with one of his wooden projects to treasure. Family was his main joy in life and he didn?t miss a chance to be with him.
In addition to his wife, Pauline, he is survived by one son, Matt Miller of the home, who is attending college in Lamoni, IA; a daughter, Amanda Miller of Tempe, AZ; his mother-in-law, Ruth Otto Boehner of Newtown; five half-sisters, Betty, Sharon, Linda, Marilyn and JoAnn; three half-brothers, Leroy, Leland and Dwight; 15 brothers- and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews on both sides of the family; and an uncountable number of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a special father-in-law, Willard Otto.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be left to the Harris Cemetery.
