The Trenton City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m., Monday at city hall.
Items on the announced agenda include an ordinance to adopt the city, TMU and park department budgets; and ordinance to authorize the city and Citizens Bank and Trust to sign an agreement to lease-purchase six electric generators; an ordinance authorizing the mayor and city clerk to execue a memorandum of agreement between the city and Green Hills Regional Planning Commission to administer the Tinsman Sewer Project grant; an ordinance authorizing purchase of real estate from Peggy Tharp; and an ordinance certifying results from Tuesday’s election. the meeting will then be closed, to re-open with the swearing-in of newly-elected officials. There will also be appointments of a city clerk, deputy city clerk, fire chief and committees and discussion of emergency sirens and a municipal court.
