Letha H. Littell, a 79-year-old resident of Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines, IA, died Thursday, March 20, 2003. She was a former Mercer resident.

Letha H. Littell, a 79-year-old resident of Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines, IA, died Thursday, March 20, 2003. She was a former Mercer resident.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2003, at Caldwell-Raddatz Funeral Home in Urbandale, IA. A visitation will be held this evening (Friday, March 2, 2003) at the funeral home. The cremains will be buried in the Mercer Cemetery.
Mrs. Littell was born in Belvue, KS, and was a homemaker and engaged in farming.
She is survived by two sons, Paul E. Grice of Holt, and Jim L. Grice of Norwalk, IA; a step-son William F. Littell of Hillsborough, CA; three step-daughters, Deanna Davis of Denver, CO; Carol Mellinger of Pagosa Springs, CO and Lori Luers of Pierre, SD; three brothers, Clairmont Hohensee of Arroyn Grande, CA and Willard and Lloyd Hohensee, both of Cedar Rapids, IA; three sisters, Althea Betten of Jolley, IA and Carol Hohensee and Marlene Monkelien, both of Pomeroy, IA; three grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Littell, in 1994; a step-son, Raymond Littell; and a brother, Milford Hohensee.
