Beginning April 1, persons making payments in the office of the Grundy County Treasurer and Ex-Officio Collector will be able to do so by credit card.
County Treasurer Colleen Kidd said the office will be able to accept Mastercard and Visa credit cards for payments made in that office only. This would include ambulance service bill payments as well as delinquent taxes collected by that office after March 1. County taxes are collected by each township until that time and Mrs. Kidd noted the credit card machine would not be available to the townships for that purpose.
