Jack P. Dickerson, a 74-year-old resident of Chillicothe, passed away at Liberty Hospital in Liberty on Tuesday, March 11, 2003.

Jack P. Dickerson, a 74-year-old resident of Chillicothe, passed away at Liberty Hospital in Liberty on Tuesday, March 11, 2003.
Services were held at 10 a.m. today (Thursday, March 13, 2003) at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial was in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe.
Mr. Dickerson was born on July 31, 1928 in Cushing, OK, the son of Samuel B. and Chloe Zornes Dickerson. On Dec. 21, 1950 in Gallatin, he married Mary Reeter. She survives of Chillicothe. He served in the United States Army from 1951 until 1953 serving during the Korean War. He moved from Lock Springs in 1957. He worked for the Chillicothe Police Department for 27 years until retiring. He attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Chillicothe. He loved farming and fishing.
Mr. Dickerson is survived by one son, Jack Dickerson and his wife, Debbie, of Chillicothe; one daughter, Pat Christopher and her husband, Kenny, of Breckenridge; one sister, Vivian Reeter of Chillicothe; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren;
Mr. Dickerson was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Pauline, Glendoris and Aline; and an infant brother.
