Third District State Rep. Jim Whorton, D-Trenton, will be making four stops in the area on Friday to visit with area residents.
Whorton will be at Carla?s Cupboard in Spickard from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., then travel on to the Feed Bunk in Mercer, where he will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Whorton will be at the Mercer County Senior Center in Princeton from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., then finish up his day at the district office in Trenton, 142 E. Ninth St., from 2 p.m. throughout the afternoon.
Third District constituents are invited to any of Whorton?s stops to visit with the state representative about concerns they may have with issues being addressed in Jefferson City, including the state budget, as well as legislation under consideration.
