Hollis Lenore Moore, an 85-year-old resident of Princeton, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003 at the Lamoni Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Lamoni, IA.

Hollis Lenore Moore, an 85-year-old resident of Princeton, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003 at the Lamoni Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Lamoni, IA.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2003 at the Princeton First Baptist Church, with Rev. Guy Olin Thomas and Rev. Ron Helton officiating. Burial will be in the Princeton Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 1 p.m., on Saturday, March 1, 2003, ith a family visitation scheduled from 7 to 8 o?clock that evening at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel at Princeton.
Mrs. Moore was born at Cainsville on Jan. 21, 1918, the daughter of Roy Roscoe and Carrie Mae Booth Finney. She was raised in Mercer County and attended Center Grade School in Lindley Township and Princeton High School, where she graduated in 1937. She attended Maryville State Teachers College and later taught at the West White and Keller Rural schools for two years. She was married to Noel Darvin Moore on April 30, 1939. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Moore loved being with her family, gardening, tending her flowers and canning fruit. She did quilting with the Bethel Aid Ladies and had played for church services for 55 years at the Princeton Assembly of God Church, where she was a member
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Moore is survived by a son, Garry Moore and his wife, Debbie, of Princeton; a daughter, Sherrie Moore of Ankeny, IA; five grandchildren, Sarah Lea Moore of Warrensburg, Sydney Lynn Moore and Nathan Noel Moore of Princeton. Patrick Daniel Wells of St. Paul, MN and Kristen Lynn Wells of Juneau, AK; and a sister-in-law, Anna Mae Finney of Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Wilma Baker; a brother, Roscoe Finney; and a nephew, Richard Baker.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial to the Bethel Aid Ladies or Grundy County Hospice.
