Alice Mae Allison, an 84-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 6:55 p.m., Friday, Feb. 21, 2003 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Alice Mae Allison, an 84-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 6:55 p.m., Friday, Feb. 21, 2003 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

A visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003 at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Graveside services will be held at Wilds Chapel Cemetery following the visitation, with Rev. Jeff McKinney officiating.

Mrs. Allison was born June 18, 1918 in Osborn, the daughter of William Stewart and Lovella Jane McNamara Vaughn. She was united in marriage in 1933 to Dewey McHargue in Trenton. He preceded her in death in 1962. She was married in 1964 Riley Allison, who preceded her in death in 1981. She was a member of the Spickard Christian Church and was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge. She volunteered for RSVP at the senior center and enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo.

Survivors include a son, William John McHargue, and his wife, Mildred, of Moulton, IA; two daughters, Wilma Jean McKinney of Cherokee Village, AR, and Wilda Jannette Swale and her husband, Ben, of Kearney; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands and her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Joan Barton; a brother, William Vaughn; two sisters, Ethel Coffman and Doris Marie Lewis; a half-sister, Edith Wills; and a step-sister, Juanita Gray.

Memorials may be left to the American Heart Association.
