The Trenton R-9 Board of Education has narrowed a list of candidates for the middle school principal?s job down to 10, following a review of applications on Wednesday night.
Board Secretary Susan Leeper said the board reviewed 35 applications before narrowing the list. A background and reference check will be done, with the board setting up interviews beginning at the end of the month.
The board has also announced it will move this month?s regularly scheduled meeting to Wednesday, Feb. 12 so that members can attend courtwarming activities at the high school on Tuesday. The board meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. at the district office.
