Funeral services for Elizabeth Callan, a 91-year-old resident of 414 Town & Country, Trenton, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003 at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. Rev. Jennifer Jennings will officiated. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton.

General visitation is in progress at the funeral home.
Mrs. Callen passed away at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Mrs. Callen was born on Dec. 6, 1911 at Moberly, the daughter of Albert and Dora Burrill Martin. She was married to John B. Callan on Sept. 3, 1949 at Trenton. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1982. She attended junior college at Moberly. She worked as a legal secretary for Jack Hoover. Mrs. Callen was a life member of the Hodge Presbyterian Church of Trenton and the Moberly Historical Society in Randolph City.
Mrs. Callen is survived by one brother-in-law, R.B. “Dick” Callan of Kansas City; and two cousins, Pauline Guzan of Lees Dale, PA and Peggy Weir of McDonald, PA.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Callan was preceded in death by her parents; and one step-son, J. David Callan.
