Perry Galloway, a 72-year-old resident of 827 McPherson St., passed away at 4:05 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, where he had been a patient since Jan. 14, 2003.

Perry Galloway, a 72-year-old resident of 827 McPherson St., passed away at 4:05 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, where he had been a patient since Jan. 14, 2003.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003 at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Brother Eric Hoover will officiate. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton.

A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003 at the mortuary.

Mr. Galloway was born on June 28, 1930 in Putnam County, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Fannie Marie Mahoney Galloway. He was married to Nada Smith on Feb. 19, 1955 at Unionville. He served in the Korean War in the U.S. Air Force. They lived in Unionville and had lived in Trenton for the past 25 years. He retired from the Missouri State Highway Department after 45 years of service. Mr. Galloway was a member of the Unionville Christian Church and attended the Galt Christian Church.

Mr. Galloway is survived by his wife, Nada, of the home; three sons, Mike Galloway of Tulsa, OK, David Galloway of Pratt, KS and Dan Galloway of Leon, IA; one daughter, Cheryl Galloway of Tulsa, OK; one brother, Jerry Galloway of Stratford, IA; two sisters, Mildred Corcoran of Ottawa, KS and Olive Pauley of Augusta, GA; his mother-in-law, Pearl Smith of Unionville; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Galloway was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
