A ban on open burning in the City of Trenton and Grundy County has been lifted.
Trenton Fire Chief Tony Ralston said the ban has been lifted due to the snowfall received Wednesday night and this morning. Ralston said city and county fire officials will continue assessing the fire hazard situation due to drought conditions.
