Trenton High School has named its Students of the Quarter for the second quarter.
Students are chosen by the faculty based on citizenship, leadership, participation and academics. A student can be selected only one time during their four years of high school.
Senior Casey Beverlin is the son of Larry and Lana Beverlin. He is a member of the football team as well as Future Teachers of America and FFA. He serves as secretary of the student council, vice president of Future Business Leaders of America and is a member of the National Honor Society. He is also a member of Boy Scout Troop 99 and is an Eagle Scout. He serves as a junior deacon at the First Christian Church.
Junior Jordan Ferguson has been named to the ?A? honor roll as well as a courtwarming and homecoming attendant. He is a member of the Gold Rush Show Choir, FCCLA and the journalism staff. He has lettered in football, basketball and track and plays American Legion baseball. He is a member of the First Assembly of God Church and is the son of Mark and Brenda Ferguson.
Sophomore Wade Peters is a member of the basketball, football and track teams and is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America. He attends the Wesley United Methodist Church and is the son of Lee and Laura Peters.
Freshman Alana Tolle has been named a Student of the Week and was on the ?A? honor roll. Her high school activities include softball and basketball, concert choir, FFA and serving as secretary/treasurer of the freshman class. She is a member of Hodge Presbyterian Church and is the daughter of Alan and Penny Tolle.
