Earl McKay, a 90-year-old resident of the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, passed away at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003 at the nursing home, where he had been a resident since October 1999.

Earl McKay, a 90-year-old resident of the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, passed away at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003 at the nursing home, where he had been a resident since October 1999.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday Jan. 16, 2003 at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton.
General visitation will begin after 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan.14, 2003 at the mortuary. There is no scheduled family visitation planned.
Mr. McKay was born on Oct. 6, 1912 in Sullivan County, the son of Kennison A. and S. Edith Williams McKay. He was raised in the Humphreys community and on Jan. 21, 1937 he was married to Beulah A. Rhoades in Trenton. She preceded him in death on Dec. 29, 1997. After their marriage they lived and farmed in the Humphreys and Galt communities. They retired and moved to Trenton in 1982. He was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church.
Mr. McKay is survived by one son, Kenneth McKay and his wife, Teenie, of Trenton; one daughter, Linda, now Mrs. Ron Collins of Sun Lake, AZ; one brother, Don McKay of Trenton; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. McKay was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three brothers; and two sisters.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Fairview United Methodist Church.
