Inez M. Moore, an 87-year-old resident of Chillicothe, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002 at the Newtown Cemetery in Newtown.

Mrs. Moore was born on Feb. 13, 1915, the daughter of Alfred W. and Bessie A. Ritter Moore in Farmington. She married Wilfred Grogan on May 2, 1935. He preceded in her death in October 1953. On March 6, 1957, she married Wesley “Wood” Moore in Crown Point, IN. He preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1992.

Mrs. Moore is survived by two nieces, Susan Moore Bowman of Lancaster, CA and Melissa A. Moore Coddington of Beirut, Lebanon; one nephew, Robert Hennig Moore of Goleta, CA; one nephew by marriage, Joseph Curtis Moore of Littleton, CO; two nieces by marriage, Linda F. Moore Caldwell and Marry Anna Moore, both of Albuquerque, NM; one step-brother, Leroy Braswell; one step-sister-in-law, Doris, of Fredericktown; and numerous other family members and friends.

In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Hopkins Moore.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church of Chillicothe.
