Betty L. Berry, a 75-year-old resident of Springfield, passed away on Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at her home. She was a former Trenton resident.

Betty L. Berry, a 75-year-old resident of Springfield, passed away on Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at her home. She was a former Trenton resident.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2002 at Walnut Lawn DeGraffenreid-Wood Funeral Home Chapel in Springfield.

Mrs. Berry was born in Trenton on Feb. 11, 1927, the daughter of Floyd and Gertrude McCallum Potts. She was the owner of Ace Pattern and Foundry in Kansas City, KS, a licensed pilot, a member of The Ninety-Nines Inc. International Organization of Women Pilots, and an associate member of the International Society of Appraisers. She enjoyed flying, boating and spending time at her home on Indian Point at Table Rock. She was also an avid lover of animals and treasure collecting.

Mrs. Berry is survived by two sons, Robert A. Davis of Kansas City, KS and Bradley N. Davis of Brunner; one daughter, Ramona K. Davis of Kansas City; one granddaughter, Carlye E. Wannenmacher of Springfield; two great-grandsons, Trey and Jacob Wannenmacher of Springfield; and her cousin, Mary Louise Renfro of Trenton.

Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Dr. Robert N. Davis; her husband, Thomas H. Berry; and one daughter, Chata L. Ward.
