Tickets for the 32nd annual Miss Trenton Area Scholarship Pageant and the first-ever Miss Green Hills Area Scholarship Pageant will go on sale this Saturday in Trenton.
The area?s official local preliminaries to the Miss Missouri and Miss America pageants will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4 in the Ketcham Community Center on the North Central Missouri College campus. Fifteen young women from the Green Hills Area as well as from across the ?Show-Me State? will compete for two titles and will represent the area in the Miss Missouri Pageant this summer in Mexico. Over $5,000 in cash scholarships will be awarded as well as scholarships to NCMC for the top five finishers in each preliminary contest.
Tickets will again be reserved seating and the ticket outlet for this year?s pageant will be the Trenton Republican-Times newspaper office at 122 E. Eighth St. Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Saturday and remain available until noon. After that date, tickets can be purchased at the newspaper office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Ticket prices are again $10, $8 and $5. Reserved seating will be available on the main floor and in the balcony while bleacher seating will be on a first-come basis.
