Grant applications are now available to groups or individuals interested in competing for district funds made possible through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Solid Waste Management program and the North Missouri Solid Waste Management District.
The Solid Waste District will competitively rate and score projects whose purpose is to further the Region B solid waste implementation plan. Past projects have included the funding of community recycling programs, the purchase of recycling equipment, and educational programs to name a few.

Applications must be returned to the Solid Waste District office by 5 p.m. on Jan. 15.
