Several offices and businesses have announced plans to be closed Thursday and/or Friday in conjunction with the Thanksgiving holiday.
Closed on Thursday will be the Grundy County Courthouse, Trenton City Hall/Trenton Municipal Utilities, Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce/License Bureau, Green Hills Regional Planning Commission, Green Hills Community Action Agency, Grundy County Division of Family Services, Grundy County Health Department, Grundy County Prosecutor?s Office, Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library, Grundy County Senior Center/RSVP, the USDA Service Center, Grundy Electric Cooperative/Public Water District, Aquila, Classic Cable, Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, Farmers State Bank, Citizens Bank and Trust and US Bank.
Closed on Friday will be the Grundy County Courthouse, Trenton City Hall/Trenton Municipal Utilities, Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce/License Bureau, Green Hills Regional Planning Commission, Grundy County Prosecutor?s Office, Grundy County DFS, Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library, Grundy Electric Cooperative, Aquila and Kirby Insurance.
The Trenton Post Office will be closed on Thursday, however, it will be open for business as usual on Friday and there will be both regular and box delivery.
There will be no classes in the Trenton R-9 and Pleasant View R-6 school districts on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Grundy R-5 will dismiss early on Wednesday, with classes being dismissed at 12:30 p.m. at the high school at 12:40 p.m. at the elementary school. North Central Missouri College will have no classes Thursday or Friday and offices will be closed.
The Republican-Times office will close on Thursday, but will be open on Friday and a paper will be published. Subscribers who have in-town delivery and do not receive a newspaper can call the Republican-Times office on Friday before 6 p.m. at 359-2212 and one will be delivered.
