Ronald Johnson, a 65-year-old resident of 33 NE Highway N, Trenton, passed away at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002 at his home east of Trenton.

Ronald Johnson, a 65-year-old resident of 33 NE Highway N, Trenton, passed away at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002 at his home east of Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at the Laredo Christian Church in Laredo. Bro. Mark Peck will officiate. Burial will be in the Stucker Cemetery located southwest of Laredo.

There is a scheduled family visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.

Mr. Johnson was born on Aug. 1, 1937 at Spencer, IA, the son of Frank F. and Ruby Isbell Higley Johnson. He attended Excelsior School in Excelsior Township, IA and on June 26, 1960 he was married to Jeanne Yarnes in the Methodist Church at Spirit Lake, IA. Mr. Johnson farmed all his adult life in Iowa until they moved to Missouri eight years ago and then bought a retirement farm east of Trenton three years ago. He was baptized at the Montgomery Church in April 1978 and was a member of the Lake Park Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Jeanne Johnson of the home near Trenton; one son, Randall Johnson and his wife, Regina, of Lake Park, IA; five daughters, Crystal, now Mrs. Tom Mayberry of St. James, MN, Evadne, now Mrs. Lonnie Siemers of Lake Park, Ruby, now Mrs. Corey Walker of Laredo, Tafla Johnson of Lakeville, MN and Peglene Johnson of Trenton; three brothers; four sisters; 14 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Besides his parents; Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by one brother, Harvey Johnson; one granddaughter, Lacey Hayostek; and an infant granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Laredo Christian Church for kids camp.
