Alma M. Lawrence, a 70-year-old resident of 2610 Princeton Road, Apt. 7B in Trenton, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.

Alma M. Lawrence, a 70-year-old resident of 2610 Princeton Road, Apt. 7B in Trenton, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. Burial will be in the Edinburg IOOF Cemetery.

Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lawrence was born on May 14, 1932 at Milan, the daughter of George and May Olmstead Montgomery. She attended Green City Schools and graduated from Perry High School. She was married to Rus-sell Lawrence in June 1961. She worked for Wright Memorial Hospital as a certified nurses aide for about 20 years. She was also a member of the Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Trenton.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by seven children, Rebecca Long and her husband, Mike, of Mexico, MO, Jackie Walker and her husband, Terry, of Princeton, James Lawrence of Kerrville, TX, Roger Lawrence and his wife, Elizabeth, of Trenton; Rodney Lawrence of Trenton, Richard Lawrence and his wife, Jaunita, of Milan, and Faron Lawrence of Trenton; one step-son Ronnie Lawrence and his wife, Wilena, of Trenton; one brother, Harvey Montgomer of Peoria, IL; two sisters, Josephine Sharp of Milan and Colene Little and her husband, Pearl, of Perry; 17 grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Lawrence; one brother, Kenneth Montgomery; and one step-son, Gary Lawrence.
