The Trenton City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m., Monday at City Hall.
Items on the announced agenda include an ordinance granting a variance for Esta Betz and Virgil Boyle to construct a carport at 1320 Lulu, an ordinance authorizing an agreement between the city and Blakely and Associates Consulting Engineers for an electrical system study, an ordinance, tabled from the last meeting, abolishing and vacating a portion of Fifth Street near Harris Avenue, discussion of a resolution of support for Sen. Bond and others, awarding of an airport furnace bid and a proclamation for National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month. An executive session for legal matters will also be held.
The Economic Development Committee will meet at 6:15 p.m., prior to the council meeting. Items on the agenda include discussion of a spec building and a report by Assistant City Administrator for Community Development Rick Childers.
