Mary Frances Kilburn, a 78-year-old resident of Carrollton, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002 at the Living Center, Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Mary Frances Kilburn, a 78-year-old resident of Carrollton, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002 at the Living Center, Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002 at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton. Rev. Larry Reeter will officiate. Burial will be in the Wheeling Cemetery in Wheeling.
Visiation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kilburn was born in Avalon on Jan. 30, 1924, the daughter of Lester and Minnie M. Jones Farr. She attended Avalon and Sumner schools. On Dec. 23, 1959, she married Carl L. Kilburn in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death on May 16, 1981. She was a housewife and mother and lived most of her life in the Chillicothe and Carrolton area.
Mrs. Kilburn is survived by one daughter, Janese M. Timmons of Meadville; two sons, Eugene F. Kilburn of Chillicothe and Fred W. Kilburn of Carrollton; one brother, Wayne Farr of Marshall; two sisters, Elfreeda Payton of Desoto, KS and Doris Linscott of Chillicothe; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kilburn was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Nina Marie Farr and Monzelle Frakes.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Wheeling Cemetery. These may be left at or mailed to the Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton, MO 64633.
