Dorothy Gutshall, an 85-year-old resident of Trenton and former Gilman City resident, passed away at on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 at a Kansas City Hospital.

Dorothy Gutshall, an 85-year-old resident of Trenton and former Gilman City resident, passed away at on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 at a Kansas City Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002 at the Pilot Grove #1 Baptist Church in Gilman City. Burial will be in the Pilot Grove #1 Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002 at the Roberson Funeral Home in Gilman City, where friends may call after 2 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday.
Mrs. Gutshall was born on Oct. 1, 1917 in Bethany, the daughter of Henry Martin and Rebecca A. Cook Taylor. On July 22, 1942, she married Lewis D. Gutshall. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2001.
Mrs. Gutshall is survived by one daughter, Penny Tolle of Trenton; three sons, Dr. Roger Gutshall of Hamilton, Dr. Dennis Gutshall of Kansas City, Tim Gutshall of Johnstown, CO; and eight grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Gutshall was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Orville, Ralph, Ray, Dee and George Taylor; and four sisters, Jan Blanchard, Goldie Hogan, Lucille Hursman and Marge Baker.
