Several offices and businesses have announced plans to be closed Monday due to the Columbus Day holiday.
Closed will be the Grundy County Courthouse, Trenton City Hall/Trenton Municipal Utilities, Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce/License Bureau, Green Hills Regional Planning Commission, Green Hills Community Action Agency, Grundy County Division of Family Services, Grundy County Health Department, Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library, Grundy County Senior Center, the USDA Service Center, Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, Farmers State Bank and US Bank.
There will be no city or rural delivery by the Trenton Post Office on Monday, however, the lobby will be open from 6 to 10 a.m. and postal box mail will be available from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
The Republican-Times office will be open and a newspaper will be published on that day.
