Dorothy M. Young, a 95-year-old resident of the Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton, passed away at 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002 at the care center, where she had resided since Oct. 19, 2000.

Dorothy M. Young, a 95-year-old resident of the Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton, passed away at 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002 at the care center, where she had resided since Oct. 19, 2000.
The body was cremated and no service is planned at this time. Resthaven Mortuary was in charge of the arrangments.
Miss Young was born on May 8, 1907 at Paola, KS, the daughter of Jasper Clark and Minnie B. Muchmore Young. She was raised in the Paola and Trenton communities. She graduated from Paola High School in 1925 and after graduation she moved to Kansas City, where she and her sister, Mildred made their home together. Miss Young was employed as a bookkeeper for the president of Swift & Company for over 40 years. She was a member of the Ward Parkway Presbyterian Church.
Miss Young is survived by several cousins, including Beverly Tipton of Trenton.
She was prececded in death by her parents and one sister, Mildred Young, who passed away on April 10, 1993.
