There are still 68 properties that will go up for sale at the Grundy County Delinquent Tax Sale, scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday at the Grundy County Courthouse. That number is down from the 105 that were originally slated for auction.

A total of 48 properties will be offered for the first time, while 13 are being offered for the second time and seven are being offered for the third and final time. Trenton Township has the largest number of properties to be offered, 26, with Madison Township following with 20, all of which are located at Leisure Lake. Franklin Township will have eight properties for sale, with the remaining properties being located in Lincoln Township (6), Wilson Township (4), Liberty Township (3) and Taylor Township (1).

Property owners who still owe taxes on the properties may pay the amount due by sale time on Monday to avoid having the property sold.
