This is the final week to collect shoes for the Trenton Rotary Club?s ?Shoes for Orphan Souls? project.
Shoes are being collected by the club for donation to foreign countries, including Africa, Russia and Romania. Monetary donations are also being accepted, which will be used to purchase additional shoes.
Persons wanting to make a donation of shoes can leave them at Brown?s Shoe Fit, Pamida, Hoffman and Reed or with any Rotary Club member. Monetary donations can be left with any club member or at any local financial institution and should be earmarked ?Rotary Club – Shoes for Orphan Souls.?
Donations and shoe collections will be taken until noon on Friday, with members planning to box up the shoes on that day. For more information about the project, persons can contact co-chairmen Chris Hoffman or Cathy McKay.
