Robert Thomas Hershberger, an 89-year-old resident of Chillicothe, passed away today (Monday, July 22, 2002) at the Indian Hills Retirement Village in Chillicothe.

Robert Thomas Hershberger, an 89-year-old resident of Chillicothe, passed away today (Monday, July 22, 2002) at the Indian Hills Retirement Village in Chillicothe.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Chillicothe.
There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call after 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2002 and from 8 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
Mr. Hershberger was born on July 1, 1913, the son of Lee and Edna Goodman Hershberger in Breckenridge. On May 26, 1935 in Chillicothe, he married Reta M. Wilson. They were married for 67 years. He graduated from Lock Springs High School. He lived in Livingston County most of his life. He was a farmer and really enjoyed his horses. He was of the Christain faith and served in the CC Camp.
Mr. Hershberger is survived by his wife, Reta, of the home; two daughters, Dixie Reeter of Chillicothe and Judy Brannan of Laredo; one son, Larry Hershberger of Chillicothe; three grandchildren, Paul Reeter, Julie Carroll and David Hershberger; and two great-grandchildren, Derek and Sydney Thorne; one sister, Helen Riley of Hamilton; and several nices and nephews.
Mr. Hershberger was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill and John Hershberger; and one sister, Alma (Kate) Hershberger.
