The Gilman City Fair was held over the weekend, with activities including livestock judging, a talent show and a baby show.

The Gilman City Fair was held over the weekend, with activities including livestock judging, a talent show and a baby show.

In the cattle show, Aaron Landes of Jamesport had the grand champion bull while reserve champion honors went to Jamie Tummons of Gallatin. The grand champion female was shown by Dillon Bird of Gallatin and Jamie Tummons had the reserve champion. The grand champion steer was shown by Zack Kinne of Eagleville and Wyatt Gibson of Ridgeway showed the reserve champion. Showmanship awards went to Jamie Tummons, junior; and Aaron Landes, senior.

In the sheep show, Colter Hill of Jamesport had the grand champion ram while the reserve champion was shown by Josh Young of Bethany. The grand champion ewe belonged to Quent Blackford of Hopkins and Colter Hill had the reserve champion. The grand champion market lamb was shown by Helena Hallock of Hatfield. Brooke Todd of Helena showed the reserve champion. Showmanship awards went to Reggie Duncan of Unionville, junior; and Kristin Payne of Gilman City, senior.

Winners in the swine show included Erin Crow of Gallatin, grand champion boar; Steven McCully of Milan, reserve champion boar; Stuart Kemper of Conception Junction, grand champion gilt; Heath Oram of Gilman City, reserve champion gilt; Erin Croy of Gallatin, grand champion barrow; and Tony Kemper of Conception Junction, reserve champion barrow. The showmanship awards went to Kyle Croy of Gallatin, junior; and Will Jarboe of Gallatin, senior.

Results of the talent show included:

Dance, 11-and-under, 1. Kailey Salmon, 2. Dannette Teel, 3. Jaiden Sunderman, Sarah Alexander, Kinsley Vandiver and Skylar Ragan; 12 to 16, 1. Northwest Academy of Dance.

Vocal, 11-and-under, 1. Emily Allen, 2. Felicia Bertrand, 3. Sarah Wilhite; 12 to 16, 1. Katie Dennert; 17-and-over, 1. Robin and Ken Dennert, 2. Northwest Academy of Dance, 3. Candy Haffey.

Other, 11-and-under, 1. Emily Dennert, 2. Becca Weeks, 3. Timothy Weeks; 17-and over, 1. Elwin Stephenson and Timothy Dennert.

Winners in the baby show included:

Boys, 5 to 10 months, 1. Sam Uthe, 2. Hunter Bender, 3. Cade Davidson; 11 to 17 months, 1. Gage Sperry, 2. Michael Sutton; 18 to 24 months, 1. Dylan Ward.

Girls, 0 to 4 months, 1. Skye Beth Uthe; 5 to 10 months, 1. Rebekah Allen; 22 to 17 months, 1. Payton Ellis, 2. Kaycee Vandiver, 3. Shayla Wilson.
