Norma Lee Harrison, a 75-year-old resident of the Pleasant Hill Health and Rehab Center in Pleasant Hill for the past year and former resident of Chillicothe, passed away at the Kindred Hospital in Kansas City on Tuesday, June 4, 2002.

Norma Lee Harrison, a 75-year-old resident of the Pleasant Hill Health and Rehab Center in Pleasant Hill for the past year and former resident of Chillicothe, passed away at the Kindred Hospital in Kansas City on Tuesday, June 4, 2002.

Funeral services will be held at at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2002 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be in the Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe.

There will be a scheduled family visitation on Thursday, June 6, 2002 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home. Friends may call after 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Harrison was born on March 4, 1927, the daughter of Kelly and Edith Stagner Colliver in Tina. She was a 1945 graduate of Tina High School in Tina. On June 16, 1949, she married Carl Harrison in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1999. She was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Chillicothe, retiring in 1977. She was a member of the Oakland Christian Church. She was also a member of the Lady Rollin Rascals in Chillicothe.

Mrs. Harrison is survived by one daughter, Anita Evans of Pleasant Hill; two grandchildren, Kali and Haley Evans, both of Pleasant Hill; and a step-mother-in-law, Violet Baldwin of Chillicothe.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her parents.
