Don R. Thomas, an 82-year-old resident of Gladstone, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2002 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1 at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Thomas was born on Aug. 15, 1920 in Grundy County.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife of 57 years, Erma Thomas; two daughters, Carolyn Babbitt and her husband, Keith, and Donna Bowman and her husband, Jerry; one son, Roy and his wife, Lynn Thomas; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Garnett Leeper, Kathryn Baugher and Phyliss Wimer.
