Billy Klingensmith, a 73-year-old resident of 1214 E. 24th St. in Trenton, died at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, May 22, 2002 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, where he had been a resident for two days.

Billy Klingensmith, a 73-year-old resident of 1214 E. 24th St. in Trenton, died at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, May 22, 2002 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, where he had been a resident for two days.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2002 at the Maple Grove Cemetery at Trenton. Rev. Jerry Henderson will officiate. Military graveside rites will follow. General visitation is under way at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.

Mr. Klingensmith was born on April 25, 1929 in Trenton, the son of Acie Lee and Ollie Norris Klingensmith. He was married to Margaret Hamilton in June of 1965 at Trenton.

Mr. Klingensmith served in the U.S. Army. He did carpentry and plumbing work in the Trenton area and also enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the Assembly of God church.

Mr. Klingensmith is survived by his wife, Margaret, of the home; two sisters, Rose Washburn and Betty Graham, both of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Besides his parents, Mr. Klingensmith was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Ray Klingensmith and Roy Albert Klingensmith.
