Summer Reading Program Set At Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library
It will be a ?mysterious summer? at the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library this summer as the library gears up for the annual summer reading program.
Signup will be on Friday, June 7. There will be three age groups, including three- and four-year-olds, who will meet on Wednesdays at 10 a.m.; kindergarteners and ages five through second grade, who will meet on Wednesdays at 1 p.m.; and third to fifth graders, who will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursdays. Awards Day will be on July 31.
Each child will receive a mystery record book. The book will have four pages with 18 blanks in them so children can keep track of the books they read. Once a child has read the first 18 books, they receive a book. Everyone will get something for reading.
