Associate degrees and one-year certificates will be conferred upon 274 graduates during commencement exercises to be held Saturday, May 11, at North Central Missouri College.
The ceremony will be held in the Ketcham Community Center beginning at 10:30 a.m. with an outdoor reception to follow, weather permitting.
12th District State Sen. David Klindt, R-Bethany, will give the commencement address. NCMC’s Student Senate President Alisha Vadnais will present the class of 2002 and NCMC President Dr. Walter Nolte and Dean of Instruction Dr. Marlene Tignor will confer degrees. The NCMC Board of Trustees and the vollege’s associate deans will assist with the presentation of diplomas, certificates and honors.
Honors recognition is given to those students who have achieved outstanding academic performance. In the graduate list that follows, * indicates students graduating with honors (3.5-3.84 GPA), while ** indicates students graduating with highest honors (3.85 or higher GPA).
