Edwin James (Jim) Henderson, an 86-year-old resident of Chillicothe, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2002 at his home.

Edwin James (Jim) Henderson, an 86-year-old resident of Chillicothe, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2002 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wendesday, May 8, 2002 at the Bosworth Baptist Church in Bosworth. Burial will be in the Big Creek Cemetery in Bosworth.

There is no scheduled family visitation. General visitation is in progress until 8 p.m. this evening (Tuesday, May 7, 2002) at the funeral home.

Mr. Henderson was born in Carroll County on April 28, 1916, the son of Bill and Flora Berrier Henderson. He attended Bosworth schools and graduated from Chillicothe High School. He was married to Dulcie Henderson. She preceded him in death. He then married Jo Ann Trobough. She survives of the home. Mr. Henderson was self-employed in sales. He sold auto parts for 60 years. He moved to Chillicothe from Trenton six years ago. Mr. Henderson was a member of the Bosworth Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Henderson is survived by two daughters, Nancy Sue Fawcett and her husband, James of Nokomis, FL and Rebecca Sensenich and her husband, Mike, of Chillicothe; one son, David Trobough and his wife, Debbie, of Warrensburg; one daughter-in-law, Kaye Henderson of Pindall, AR; one brother, John Henderson and his wife, Hazel, of Bosworth; two sisters, Dorothy O?Dell of Chillicothe and Margaret McIrvin and her husband, LeRoy ?Junior?, of Maryville; one brother-in-law, Glen Boling and his wife, Donna, of Batavia, IA; one sister-in-law, Inez Dunn of St. Louis; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his first wife, Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dennis Henderson; and one sister, Sis Alley.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bosworth Baptist Church or the Hedrick Medical Center Hospice Services.
