Audley D. Houston, a 96-year-old resident of Dayton, OH, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2002 at Friendship Village.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2002 at the Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins, GA.
Mrs. Houston was born on March 23, 1906 in Mound City, KS, the daughter of John Matson Hood and Lula Angie Whitman Hood. She was an accomplished artist, attended Oklahoma University and was a PEO sister.
Mrs. Houston is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn H. and Richard Hunt of St. Simons Island, GA; grandchildren, Annette Hunt Jenkins and Jesse Jenkins, Steven Clark Hunt and Lisa Hunt; great-grandchildren, Zachary Jenkins, Tyler Jenkins, Spencer Jenkins and Benjamin D. Hunt; one sister, Eva Hood Gray of Trenton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Houston was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Houston; three brothers; and one sister.
