Mrs. Amy E. Wilson, a 54-year-old resident of 2904 Mable St. in Trenton, was pronounced dead on arrival at 12;15 a.m. today (Wednesday, May 1, 2002) at the Wright Memorial Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at her home.

Mrs. Amy E. Wilson, a 54-year-old resident of 2904 Mable St. in Trenton, was pronounced dead on arrival at 12;15 a.m. today (Wednesday, May 1, 2002) at the Wright Memorial Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2002 at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Burial will be in the Half Rock Cemetery, located east of Spickard.

Open visitation and viewing will be held after 6 p.m. this evening (Wednesday, May 1, 2002) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilson was born on Nov. 24, 1947 at Cora in Sullivan County, the daughter of Alva and Alma Hines Wendt. She was raised in the Spickard and Princeton communities. On June 11, 1996, she was married to Arthur Bruce Wilson at Holt. They have lived all their married lives in Trenton.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband, Bruce Wilson of the home in Trenton; four daughters, Angie Crawford of Trenton, Tammy McCallon of Phoenix, AZ, Cherie Wilson of Kansas City and Lisa Curd of Houston, TX; seven sons, Everett Crawford and his wife, Teresa, of Independence, Robert and Chris Curd of the home, Danny Stout and and his wife, Paula, of Warrendsburg, Bennie Wilson and his wife, Mary, of Kansas City, Brad Wilson and and his wife, Linda, of Kansas City and Steven Curd and his wife, Joann of Houston, TX; five sisters, Virginia Thatcher of North Kansas City, Ruby Gunn of Holt, Lisa Norsickle of Edna, Diana Shaw of Trenton and Lois Pfieffer of Browning; three brothers, Marvin Wendt of Galena, KS and Tommy Wendt and Larry Wendt, both of Trenton; 32 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Zella McLean, Lucy Stevens and Doris Ross; and three brothers, Buck Hines and James and Bennie Wendt.
