Charlene Loveall, a 67-year-old resident of the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton and former resident of 1705 E. Fifth St. in Trenton, passed away at 11:36 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2002 at the nursing home. Mrs. Loveall was the widow of Melvin Loveall, who passed away on April 18, 2002.

Funeral services were held in conjunction with her husband, Melvin, at 10 a.m. today (Monday, April 22, 2002) at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Fred Rhodes officiated.

The pallbearers were Levi Coats, George Klinginsmith, John Keith, Cash Shultz, Bob Flippin and Robert Burkeybile.
Burial was in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton.
Mrs. Loveall was born on Nov. 9, 1934 in Erath County, TX, the daughter of Lofonda Julius ?L.J. Shorty? and Emily Knight Jordan. She attended schools in Texas and New Mexico and the day after she graduated from high school on May 23, 1953, she was married to Melvin Loveall. They lived in Texas and New Mexico before moving to Missouri in 1958. They had resided in Trenton since 1959. Mrs. Loveall was a receptionist for Dr. George Klinginsmith, a chiropractor in Trenton, for many years. She belonged to the Trenton Church of Christ.
Mrs. Loveall is survived by two daughters, Janeen Couch of Chillicothe and Billie McKay of Lathrop; two sisters, Janelle Hiser of Houston, TX and Earlene Flippin of Amarillo, TX; two brothers, R.D. Jordan and Dwayne Jordan, both of San Angelo, TX; and three grandchildren, Levi Coats, Shelby Coats and Lauren Couch.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Loveall was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, A.L. Jordan.
