The Trenton R-9 Board of Education met in closed session this morning, accepting the resignation of a first grade teacher and hiring four teachers for the 2002-2003 school year.
The board accepted the resignation of Beth Mack, first grade instructor, effective at the end of the school year. Teachers hired for the 2002-2003 school year include Renee Hull of Trenton, first grade; Julie Goddard of Trenton, second grade; Carolyn Schmidt, third grade; and Pam Bowden, middle school science.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for May 14.
