The Laredo City Council met Monday night, reorganizing after the April 2 election.
City Clerk Joyce Stimpson said council members Steve Tracy, Nora Reeter and George Griffin, as well as Mayor John Molloy, were given the oath of office and Griffin was re-appointed as mayor pro-tem. Council members voted to leave the same names on all bank accounts.
Council members discussed the storm siren, which does not work. She said the siren will be taken down and examined to see if repairs can be made.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., Wednesday, May 8.
