Mrs. Thelma Miller, an 84-year-old resident of 1601 East 8th St. in Trenton, passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at her home.

Mrs. Thelma Miller, an 84-year-old resident of 1601 East 8th St. in Trenton, passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at her home. Mrs. Miller had been in failing health.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2002 at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton.
Mrs. Miller was born on July 16, 1917 in St. Claire County, the daughter of Ben and Cora Powers Roberts. She moved to the Mt. Moriah area with her parents and attended schools in rural Mercer County. On Jan. 11, 1941 she was married to William E. ?Dub? Miller at Trenton. He preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1991. After their marriage, they moved to Kansas City, where they resided until moving to a farm in Harrison County. Later they moved to Trenton, where they lived until February 1969, when they moved to a farm north of Galt. They farmed north of Galt until they retired and moved to Trenton in 1987.
Mrs. Miller is survived by two daughters, Mavis, now Mrs. Richard Groves of Liberty and Meredith, now Mrs. Bill Redmond of Trenton; one sister, Lois Stewart of Trenton; four grandchildren, Jason Groves and his wife, Megan, Jordan Groves, Russ Redmond and his wife, Kristin and Rebecca, now Mrs. Oneal Mitchell, all of Kansas City; and four great-grandchildren, Ben Perry, Ethan Mitchell and Jon and Jackson Redmond, all of Kansas City.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Grundy County Senior Center in Trenton.
