Registration for teams planning to participate in the Grundy County American Cancer Society?s ?Relay for Life? is now under way.
?Relay for Life? will be held Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22 at C.F. Russell Stadium. Survivors, current cancer patients, families, businesses, civic organizations and members of the public are invited to form teams that will help raise funds for the Grundy County ACS. David and Janna Burkeybile are serving as co-chairmen of this year?s event.
Teams wanting to register can do so by contacting the local ACS office at 359-4484. A meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19 in the fellowship room of the First Baptist Church. For more information, persons can call the Burkeybiles at 359-6964 or Terry Toms at 359-5621.
