Two names that have become synonymous with entertainment in Trenton will have featured roles in this spring?s Trenton Acting Guild production of ?See How They Run.?

Susan Provance and Tom Powell are featured in the three-act comedy, which will be presented March 22 and 23 at Pleasant View R-6 School, with dinner served at 6 p.m. and the play to begin at 7 p.m. Miss Provance, who also serves as co-director of the play, and Tom Powell portray an American actress, Penelope Toop, and actor, Cpl. Clive Winton, now living in England who get caught up in the hilarious goings-on at an English vicarage.

Miss Provance is well-know to local theater audiences as she has performed in and directed numerous plays and musicals over the years. Her favorite roles to date include playing Veta Louise in ?Harvey? and Aunt Abby in ?Arsenic and Old Lace?. A kindergarten teacher at the S.M. Rissler Elementary School, Miss Provance enjoys spending time with her family when she has the chance.

Powell may best be remembered for his portrayal of Daddy Warbucks in the TAG production of the musical ?Annie? for which he sacrificed his hair for his craft. Powell teaches Title I reading and reading recovery at the S.M. Rissler Elementary School and enjoys reading, playing war games on the computer and target shooting. He has appeared in several TAG productions with his family, which include wife, Deanna, and daughters, Beth, a student at Truman State University, and Catie, a Trenton High School junior ,who also appears in ?See How They Run.? Among his favorite TAG roles, in addition to Daddy Warbucks, are Dr. Einstein from ?Arsenic and Old Lace?, Elwood P. Dowd in ?Harvey? and Abel Frake in ?State Fair.?

Tickets for the dinner theater production, which include a roast pork loin and grilled chicken dinner, are $15 for adults and $7 for children age 12 and under. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be limited to 200 for each performance. Tickets can be purchased at Hoffman and Reed, north store, and Farmers Mutual Insurance Company.
