Paul B. Pfaff, a 93-year-old resident of rural Trenton, passed away at the Sunnyview Nursing Home on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002.

Paul B. Pfaff, a 93-year-old resident of rural Trenton, passed away at the Sunnyview Nursing Home on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, 2002 at the St. Columbans Catholic Church in Chillicothe. Burial will be in the St. Columbans Cemetery in Chillicothe.

There will be a Parish Rosary at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening, Feb. 21, 2002 with a family visitation to follow at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Friends may call after 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Pfaff was born on May 29, 1908, the son of Louis and Anna Kappas Pfaff in Chillicothe. In 1938, he married Tena Elizabeth Taylor at St. Columbans Church in Chillicothe. She preceded him in death on Aug. 20, 1959. On March 9, 1969, he married Naomi Overton. She preceded him in death in 1983. He was a farmer and spent most of his life in the Chillicothe and Trenton areas. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton. He had served as a committee member for the Grundy County ASCS and as a rural school board member. He enjoyed wood working and refinishing antique furniture.

Mr. Pfaff is survived by three sons, Paul Pfaff of Trenton, Jim Pfaff of Carrollton and Tom Pfaff of Cameron; one daughter, Margaret Teegarden of Excelsior Springs; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; seven step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

In addition to his wives, Mr. Pfaff was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Edward Francis; one sister, Irene Martin; and four brothers, Carl, Ray, Frank and Anthony ?A.L.? Pfaff.
