The Laredo Board of Aldermen held a short meeting Monday night, discussing a repair needed at the lift station and the possible purchase of a computer.

According to City Clerk Joyce Stimpson, the board discussed the need to replace a check valve at the lift station, but took no action. Also discussed, but tabled, was the purchase of a new computer for City Hall. Information on that matter is still being gathered. In her report this morning, Mrs. Stimpson also noted that the former community building, owned by the Laredo Fire Protection District, is currently being demolished. The building, which was moved to its current location from ?old Lindley,? is over 100 years old.

The next regular meeting of the aldermen is scheduled for 7 p.m., Monday, March 11.
